You know the drill…Eat Better …. Move More
But what does that mean? What does that look like? How?
Each of us has our own unique talents, abilities, and likes, and our wellness is unique, as well. There is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to finding what you should eat and how you should move. There are guidelines that are created by experts and that follow good, scientific research, and they should be followed while keeping your “uniqueness” in mind.
A recent diagnosis or health scare, a number on the scale, another birthday, or another form of assessment may have you thinking about your health. Where can you go for reliable, safe information, and how do you put that into action?
Need help with specific dietary needs, see a Registered Dietician Nutritionist. Need help with a structured exercise plan created to your specific concerns, see a Certified Personal Trainer. Need help putting it all together and taking action, see a Certified Health Coach. Need help understanding what a recent assessment means, see a Health Educator.
Health Coaches guide you to make the changes that you need to make to meet your goals. A Health Coach can help you tweak your current menu, so it is healthier but still fits your lifestyle. A Health Coach can help you create a “movement” calendar, so you can begin an exercise plan and increase physical activity throughout your day or improve on your current exercise plan while making sure the changes are “doable” for you.
Need help understanding “healthy” foods, which exercises are needed for your goals, or understanding prediabetes or recent blood works, a Health Educator can help.
Health Educators can explain what different markers mean, so you can discuss your health in an empowered and educated way when talking to your doctor or other health care providers.
